Iris Capital welcomes two new members in Paris

Iris Capital is proud to announce the hiring of two new team members to join the Paris investment team: Shana Hudes as Venture Associate and François Kergaravat as lead of the analyst team.

Shana and François join the Early-stage investment team, alongside Julien-David Nitlech, Managing Partner, Gil Doukhan, Partner, and Thorben Rothe, Partner.

Within the team, Shana Hudes is responsible for identifying very early on the best start-ups in the ecosystem, expanding the Franco-German VC's investment portfolio and supporting some Iris Capital investments’ growth.

Prior to joining Iris Capital, Shana Hudes held a similar role at Axeleo Capital. There, she focused on pre-seed and seed B2B investment opportunities, including Joko and Sheeldmarket, on whose boards she was as an observer.

She began her career in the Venture team of Plug and Play France where she worked on the creation and the operational support of synergies between large groups and start-ups.

Shana graduated in Management from Warwick Business School (UK).

François Kergaravat is developing a team of analysts dedicated to dealflow and tech companies’ analysis, adding new segment to the of the Early-stage team expertise.

Before joining Iris Capital, François was the Founder’s Associate to the CapCar founders, working on the business and operational strategy of the start-up. Before CapCar, he began his career at BearingPoint.

François graduated with a Master’s in Finance and Strategy at Sciences Po Paris (France).
